Dr Ballentyne currently works as a local GP in Devizes as well as providing Occupational Health services. He qualified as a Doctor in 2007 having studied at Bristol University.  He qualified as a GP in 2010 and has worked at the Southbroom Surgery since, becoming a partner in 2012. At this point he achieved his Diploma in Occupational Health at Manchester University.  He has since continued to provide services for a variety of industry and education providers.  He is passionate about empowering employees to see the workplace as a positive space. He is also an established GP trainer and works as a school medical officer.  He represents Southbroom Surgery as one of the board members in the Devizes PCN and is the IT lead for the PCN.  

Dr Gold currently works as a local GP in Devizes with a specialist interest in providing Occupational Health Services. He qualified in 2014 having studied at Newcastle University before moving to the South West in 2018, and taking up a post as a GP at Southbroom Surgery and becoming a partner in 2023. He teaches medical students on a weekly basis and also has an interest in musculoskeletal medicine and joint injections. He enjoys ensuring that the workplace is not a place where health suffers and will endeavour to support a positive working environment.  

Dr Williams is currently the Senior Partner at Southbroom Surgery in Devizes, where he has been a GP since 2002. With over 20 years experience as an Occupational Health Physician, with Southbroom Occupational Health, he has gained a reputation for providing a high quality, bespoke service, to a range of local employers. As our senior Occupational Health Physician at Opera Health, he provides senior oversight to all of our clinicians, providing advice and guidance where required. In addition to the above roles, Dr Williams is also the Clinical Director for Devizes PCN Ltd so is well aware of the HR challenges facing local companies and primary care services in the current climate.   

Gareth is an Advanced Clinical Practitioner who recently completed his MSc in Advanced Practice at Bristol University. He commenced his career in the NHS as a healthcare support worker in 2007 and qualified as a paramedic in 2011. Over the years, he has progressed through various clinical and management roles. Since 2022, he has been undertaking occupational health work. He has presented and been used for many case studies across NHS England. 

Milly completed her nurse training in 2009 at University of the West of England. She qualified as a Advanced Nurse Practitioner in 2021.  She has since been working in General Practice and undertakes pre-employment work and various types of worker medicals.  She has an interest in women’s health and heads up our clinical supervision team in Devizes.   

Dr Zakhour recently joined Opera Health following a move to general practice rather late in her career. Having previously spent several years in London, working in the commercial sector, she re-trained as a doctor, joining the NHS in 2010. She subsequently began speciality training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, before moving to the Southwest for her GP training in 2019. Despite this career move, she retains a strong interest in women's health that she is keen to develop within the workplace. Along with Dr Freeman, Dr Zakhour runs the Devizes PCN Womens Health clinic. 

Dr Freeman is a GP at The Southbroom Surgery in Devizes. She studied at The University of Cambridge and qualified as a doctor in 2011. Following a period of hospital medicine and gaining her MRCP qualification, she went on to complete her GP training in 2018. She has since worked as a GP in Bath and Devizes, becoming a partner at Southbroom in 2020. She is passionate about Women’s Health; holding a Diploma in Sexual and Reproductive Health and is the Women’s Health Clinic lead for Devizes PCN Ltd. She is also a GP trainer, Bristol medical student tutor and educational supervisor lead for the PCN Physician Associate Programme. 

Guy has 20 years experience working in many different fields of Physiotherapy and Musculoskeletal medicine. He is extremely experienced in the management of various type of musculoskeletal disorders including postural/workplace injuries as well as sporting injuries and trauma. He has worked in many areas through out his career including the NHS, Military, Premiership football, Private practice and within school settings. He is qualified in many different treatment techniques including manipulation, acupuncture, injection therapy and various types of manual therapy. Away from work, Guy has a young family who keep him busy. He coaches youth football and enjoys competing in ultra marathon running races.
